This hackathon runs over the course of two days on the 6th and 7th of April, 2021. We hope to encourage all high school students (grades 8-12) to participate in this event to propose solutions to problems they identify in our healthcare system. They will have the opportunity to earn additional points if they attend optional workshops and keynote speaker sessions where they’ll have the chance to interact with professionals from various STEM fields!

Students who form teams of 1-5 members ahead of time can get started on formulating their solutions right away. Remember that students don’t have to be proficient coders, and it is encouraged to have team members who have different knowledge and experience levels.

Awards will be given to the top three winners of each category of up to $250, and an additional prize will be awarded to the team with the most creative project. Make sure to register with your team (check the eligibility document) and read through the challenge ahead of time in order to make sure you are prepared for the competition.
