E-commerce 101 explores creating an online store and selling products and services beyond brick and mortar business.
Workshop Goals:
- Introduce the benefits of having an online store and how it can increase profits
- Explain the 4 components of an online store: website, product info, shopping cart + payment and order fulfillment
- Assist in purchasing and navigating the online store at no cost for participants using GoDaddy in-kind donation (Participants should ALL already have a website prior to attending this class)
Ecommerce facilitator: Sheila O’Hara
Sheila O’Hara is a Director of Customer Education at GoDaddy. In her 25-year career, she has developed training and education materials on a wide variety of topics, including lots of software productivity applications. Some of her favorite past projects include an organ and tissue donation training program for hospital workers and nuclear nonproliferation regime requirements training for the newly independent states (back when they were newly independent).
At GoDaddy, she manages a team that creates how-to videos, webinars, and in-product guidance for customers using GoDaddy products to get their businesses online.
