Pitchers & Pitches Seattle

Pitchers & Pitches is Galvanize’s first nationwide signature event. Every month, Galvanize entrepreneurs close their computers and join together for an evening that combines pitchers of beer and pitches of business – creating a competitive, yet fun opportunity to gain exposure and feedback on their business idea.
THE PITCH FORMAT
In a mini-demo day scenario, start-up founders will be given 3 minutes to pitch and 2 minutes for Q&A on their concept and business model. A panel of judges comprising of VC firms and successful tech organizations will provide feedback and score based on a standardized rubric.
ROUNDS ADVANCEMENT PRIZES
Each event will have a set limit of 8 company pitches. One winning group from each event will advance to the Campus Finals
Campus Finals will have two top winning groups, who will be flown to San Francisco for the National Pitches and Pitchers Final
National Finals will bring the top two teams from each Galvanize campus together for a large-scale and more formal pitch event in front of VIP judges.
ONE WINNING TEAM WILL BE AWARDED FREE MEMBERSHIP FOR A YEAR
