Science & Technology Discovery Series 2013 Season, Technology Alliance

When: Friday, March 8, 2013 at 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM (Series extends to May 10, 2013)

Where: Rainier Club, 820 4th Avenue, Seattle

What: The Science & Technology Discovery Series offers the broader community an opportunity to learn about new discoveries and cutting-edge technologies directly from our state’s leading scientists and innovators. The Discovery Series is a speaker series designed for business and community leaders who want to stay on top of important advancements being made in our state, nationally and internationally. Speakers are experts in their fields and have included Nobel laureates and National Academy of Sciences members.

On March 8th, the topic is: Ocean acidification and its impacts on our marine resources.

Presentations are held the second Friday of each month, September through May, from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the Rainier Club in downtown Seattle. The intimate setting, with approximately 60 attendees per breakfast, includes a breakfast buffet, time for networking with Puget Sound region business and community leaders, a Q&A session following the speaker’s presentation, and an opportunity to meet the speaker.
