SEAPUG Spring Series: PostgreSQL New Features

This meetup features an out-of-town guest speaker, Joshua (JD) Drake.

Once a year, there is a new major version of PostgreSQL with new features. Each major version is then supported for 5 years after its initial release with quarterly updates. PostgreSQL 15 was released in October 2022 with many improvements and updates, and the PostgreSQL 16 feature freeze was in early April 2023. Join us for a walkthrough of PostgreSQL 15 new features and a preview of what’s currently on the table for PostgreSQL 16. In addition, our guest speaker has a very long history of involvement in PostgreSQL and will field general technical and community questions.

There is visitor parking in the garage of the Eastlake Building at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center, and there is also street parking. The meters become free at 6pm.
