Beverages will be supplied by Google, as well as the conference space. We DO need RSVPs before the event so we can generate visitor passes for everyone. That is why we are asking for you to make sure you commit to coming.
**I had planned on getting pizza from Zeke’s, but if someone has another idea, please let me know. Keep in mind that they have to be able to potentially handle 30ish people at a certain time of day. GF and vegetarian options will be available, unless someone else has a different need.**
We have room for 30 people, and there will be talks about topics. If you’re looking for a new job, Paul (our google contact) will be on hand for discussions, so bring your resume. I’ve been assured that you won’t have to answer interview questions like “how many golf balls fit inside an 747” or other such nonsense. They are looking many different kinds of security and developers, Project managers, and the like.
Come join us and hang out!
PARKING: Plenty of parking at that time of night in the parking lot. Paul tells me that unless you are a google employee, you’ll need to park in visitor spots or the carpool/vanpool spaces. If you are a google employee, of course the garage is available.
Come to the front of Building A and we’ll be there to let you in. Buses do run from the Kirkland transit station, and if you want to take the bus from Seattle, it’s a quick walk or uber to the transit center.
