Seattle’s International Women’s Day Event

Join the TUNE House scholars, along with various Seattle tech companies, startups, students, & organizations in celebrating International Women’s Day at this annual event. Note that this event is for women AND men – and we hope too have a good representation of both!

This year, our theme is “You Can’t Be What You Can’t See”
We all know by now that you don’t have to look a certain way to be a great computer scientist, or work in tech. But with seemingly few women to look up to, many young women self-select out of a technical career path before they even give it a chance.

The event will feature a keynote speaker, lightning talks followed by interactive discussion, heavy appetizers, and beverages. This event is free. Invite your friends and family!
