[SIXR] Seattle Tech Geek Mixer

Earlier this year, the first tech geeks mixer got started when a small group of techies wanted to network with other tech geeks because we were all curious about what tech projects were being executed in the community.  We were overwhelmed with requests for more mixer, so here you go!

Event Schedule:

• 5:00 PM: Food and Drink Served


• 6:00 PM: WIP (Work In Progress): Demos and Presentations are available throughout the event.


• 7:00 PM: Maker Match (Breakout Session)


• 7:00 PM: Create, Mix, and Mingle (Breakout Session)

The ticket cost covers food and beverages. A selection of hors d’oeuvre, soft drinks, beer, and wine are available for you. These were what we had for the last event: Crab Tostadas, Brussels Sprouts, Sliders, Spinach + Artichoke Dip, and Chicken Dumplings.

WIP (Work In Progress)

Maker Match (NEW)

Trying something new this time: Maker Match Club program!  This is similar to speed dating for resources: skills, tools, ideas, and funding. Pitch in and start something awesome together. Maker Match is a platform that brings the inventions of tomorrow into the reality of today. Create, Mix and Mingle

Come on your own or bring friends and family to create, mix and mingle with other tech geeks and wonderful folks from Seattle Makers and Hackster.io.  Maker communities have been the backbone of many tech industry innovations and breakthrough. Are Food + Drink available?

The price of the ticket will cover the first round of beer/wine/nonalcoholic beverages and food. 

* The Collective also offers food and drink. Great food and drink, as a matter of fact.  Coffee, juice, kombucha, wine, beer, and spirits too, all offered at a fair price. Whether you fancy a quick work lunch, shared plates, an eclectic dinner out or anything in between, food + drink are at your fingertips morning, noon and night at The Collective. We strive for local and sustainable; much respect to our farmers and producers. Be on the lookout for posh toasts, breakfast burritos, and insta-worthy desserts. 

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no minimum age to demo the creative projects and mingle with other tech geeks; However, to consume/buy alcoholic beverages, please present The Collective with your proof of age. 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Public transportation is suggested.  Parking will be available on the street level or inside of the garage in the building.

What’s the refund policy?

No refunds at any time.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Although it will be helpful, it’s not necessary to bring your printed ticket to the event. We will save the forest by using laptops to check you in instead.

Can I update my registration information?

The link to the Eventbrite will be emailed to you.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
