Where: 1437 S. Jackson St, Seattle
What: Are you reaching your target customers? Are you doing it effectively? Marketing with social media is an engaging, cost-effective option for new and existing small businesses, but can still be a daunting challenge to face with the abundance of tools available. Done right, however, you have the opportunity to interact with your audience in a range of fun and dynamic mediums, allowing for more personalized messaging and informing your customers about what you offer – and thus expand your customer base.
In this five-week series, we will cover the basics of setting up and managing your social media platforms, and integrating them with your website and blog in order to help you achieve your desired outcome. You will set personalized goals through hands-on experience to help you launch your own social media strategy, using the top social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, and Instagram. You will also learn effective ways to improve your website and blog in order to increase the number of visitors by utilizing effective wording and strong imagery that aligns with your brand.
Students taking the full series will leave with a social media marketing goal, a plan to achieve that goal, and the skills and experience necessary both to begin carrying out that plan and measure its progress.
