Jordan Ritter is an accomplished software architect and technical entrepreneur. He currently serves as founder and CEO of Atlas Informatics in Seattle. The company recently raised $20.7 million from a group of investors including Microsoft, Nathan Myhrvold and Aspect Ventures.
In 1999, Jordan became one of the original members of Napster, developing the technology with Shawn Fanning before the company was officially funded in August. Until his departure in November of 2000, Jordan primarily served as Chief Server Architect and was responsible for the server backend software and infrastructure, helping lead the technology to support 60 million users worldwide in less than a year.
