What: Join Dan Rosen (Chair Alliance of Angels) and Haresh Ved (Chair TiE Seattle Angel Group) in a fireside chat as they offer an in depth look at what angels are looking for in startups!
Angels are looking for a good investment that meets their investment criteria. To be a good investment requires many things come into alignment: a great team, an interesting and often novel business proposition, a market differentiation (often technology), and a plan to execute in a way that leads to an exit in a reasonable time. Angels also look for deals that interest them. Often, they invest in deals that align with their knowledge, career experience, or technologies/markets where they have developed a passion. Given that Angels invest their own money (unlike VCs), they are not always looking for businesses that grow to be huge – you can get a great return on a modest exit. Therefore, Angels tend to be more closely aligned with the entrepreneurs they support. During this event, Dan and Haresh will address these points of interest along with any other burning questions that you have.

The event check-in will start at 5.30 pm, Food and Networking for entrepreneurs, investors, advisers and everyone interested in the startup community, is from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, followed by Speaker 101 session from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
