Who: Jim Billmaier has served as the Chairman and CEO of three companies and is the inventor of over 80 granted and pending patents. Jim will talk about what startups and entrepreneurs should know about patents, speaking from experience about what it takes to file patents and how to minimize the associated cost. He will share his battle scars from being sued and having sued others.
The talk will start at 5.30 pm, followed by TiE’s monthly networking event for entrepreneurs, investors, advisors and everyone interested in the startup community.
