We are thrilled to welcome Glenn Kelman, CEO of Redfin, as the featured speaker at our 2018 luncheon on Friday, June 1st at the Westin Hotel in Seattle. Under Glenn’s leadership, Redfin has transformed the real estate market using big data to democratize how we look for and purchase our homes. Redfin’s tremendously successful IPO in the summer of 2017 further solidified its position as a leading disrupter in the real estate sector. Prior to joining Redfin, Glenn co-founded Plumtree Software, a Sequoia-backed, publicly traded company that created the enterprise portal software market. Glenn was raised in Seattle and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a regular contributor to the Redfin blog and Twitter. A sought-after speaker, Glenn’s State of Technology conversation promises to be both engaging and entertaining.
In addition to the Redfin CEO, the event will feature both local civic leaders using housing data to inform urban planning, and locally-grown technologies that are changing how we interact with our homes and vice versa. Housing, homes, tech and big data – the Tech Alliance’s 2018 annual luncheon is not to be missed. Additional speakers will be announced in coming weeks.
