Storytelling with PowerBI

July 5, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

“The universe is made of stories, not atoms.” —Muriel Rukeyser (1913–1980)

Storytelling is a cornerstone of the human experience. Though many elements of stories have remained the same throughout history, we have developed better tools and mediums for telling them, such as printed books, movies, and comics.

This has changed storytelling styles—and perhaps most importantly, the impact of those stories. Today the best stories are often interactive, visually compelling, and include rich data.

Many bloggers, journalists, newspaper columnists, and authors use data to help emphasize their position and engage their audience. In this session, we will learn about telling impactful stories with Power BI.

Agenda:
6:00 – 6:30 Grab some pizza and socialize
6:30 – 7:45 Presentation
7:45 – 8:00 Questions & Answers
