More and more we hear that startups and early-stage companies can save $$$ by cutting costs, reducing payroll, and contracting work outside the company. So, outsourcing seems the obvious choice – but is that always the case? When does it make sense to outsource work and what type of work should go – business processes, software development, customer service, technical support? And which locations does “outsourcing” equal “offshoring”? What factors might drive a startup to outsource within the “good old USA”? At what stage and for which positions should an entrepreneur forego the outsourcing model and actually hire an employee? We will be joined by Fred Crosetto, Chief Energizing Officer at AMMEX and Sanjay Kumar, Founder and CEO of vCustomer, who will share in his substantial experience, some good and some not so good, in this space – learn about some key “gotchas” from our panelists before they happen with your startup.
We’ll also be reprising our summer-themed breakfast buzz – Come clad in shorts and your festive summer t-shirts (think company picnic). Mimosas are optional, and we’ll have a creative twist on networking. Fabulous prizes include free event passes and bragging rights. Look forward to having you join!
