In the TeamsCode development challenge, high school teams have two months to develop an application or other software that aligns with the theme of the challenge. The winning teams will get prizes of up to $500 for their schools’ computer science or other tech-related departments. When the two-month development phase of this challenge is over, participants will come to the Showcase Event where they are provided with lunch and can present their projects to judges, who will ultimately assemble together after seeing all projects and choose winners based on a given rubric.
