The Lunch Box @ Push Design, AIGA Seattle
When: Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM
Where: Push Design, 506 Second Avenue, Suite 600, Seattle
What: Join at a different local studio each month for The Lunch Box. Break away from your desk to visit an amazing studio and listen to local design leaders present original perspectives that will inspire, shift or interrupt your relationship with the design space. After the presentation there will be a chance to ask questions and pick the brains of some of Seattle’s brightest design minds.
The May lunch will be hosted by Push Design who will discuss:
Collaboration Between Small Companies. Everybody wins.
Small design firms are faced with sobering prospects in a landscape of consolidation and specialization. How do you stay relevant. How do you try new things without the risk of crippling your current financial situation. Push Design will share its successes and failures on how a small design firm navigates, experiments, and deals with staying relevant through collaboration with other small companies. There are some pretty strong reasons why collaboration can even be better than a large all inclusive firm.
