TiE Young Entrepreneurs-Seattle Competition, TiE Seattle
When: Saturday, April 5, 2014 – 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Where: City Hall, City of Sammamish, 801 228th Avenue Southeast, Sammamish
What: Things are heating up at TiE Young Entrepreneurs! 31 high school aged students have completed the entrepreneurship workshops and have split into teams. Each team is working with mentors to develop pseudo companies around fascinating products. These products cover interesting new apps, new cell phone accessories, even a novel battery technology. Watch their amazing minds at work at the 2014 Seattle Competition!
TYE Seattle, focuses on fostering entrepreneurship in youth and helps them discover the challenges and rewards of becoming an entrepreneur. As part of the TYE educational program, students participate in classes led by local business leaders culminating with participation in a Business Plan Competition. In the past 6 years over 180 students have successfully participated in the program.
