“Should.” A simple yet powerful word that drives a multitude of actions, but not always the best ones. Jane Park will join WBE in July to talk about how the phrase, “I should” hurts you, and when you allow yourself to step outside that box and make mistakes, you are more creative, innovative, and generative. Getting comfortable with these concepts was a requirement for Jane when she founded Julep, a next generation beauty products company, built on the principle of empowering and connecting women. In a market filled with established competitors, she mined her business and entrepreneurial skills and exploited social technology to find new ways to engage customers and deliver more than 300 new products in 2014. Julep’s innovative product lines have been featured in Allure, InStyle, Marie Claire, Redbook andOprah Magazine. Jane will share her story of creating a world-class company founded on doing the right thing in today’s complex environment, and she will guide us to use our mistakes to answer, “What are you going to do better tomorrow than you did today?”
Join us for breakfast on July 16, as Jane gives us tips and tricks for creating a fail and learnmindset, and shares some thoughts on “should’s” best friend, perfection; and how letting go gives you the freedom you need to take more risks and stand out in the marketplace
