Each year the West Sound STEM Showcase presents science, technology, engineering & math principles at a fun, interactive event. Last year, over 2,000 people attended the STEM Showcase and participated in STEM experiences at over 60 booths including catapults, robotics, rocket launches, electronic circuitry, medicine, broadcast technology, bridges, animals and more. The sky is the limit!
The West Sound STEM Network is again hosting a bridge-building challenge for students elementary to high school. Students construct bridges using specified materials, dimensions, and load testing criteria prior to the STEM Showcase, then bring their models to the event. Bridges will be tested in center court all day!
