What: Join the ACLU of Washington to hear the latest about legal battles for civil liberties at the U.S. Supreme Court. National ACLU legal director Steve Shapiro will discuss vital cases on extending the right for lesbians and gays to marry, reining in government surveillance, countering the Hobby Lobby decision, protecting voting rights, tackling injustice in the criminal justice system, and more. Shapiro is a noted legal expert who has been counsel on more than 200 briefs submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.
