#WiT: Breaking the Barrier into Tech

The fun and fast-paced world of tech is growing like crazy. Seattle is one of the top startup cities in the world, with over 700 startups already! The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that there will be 685,000 new tech jobs by 2022. And we’re still nowhere close to having a 50/50 rate of women and men in tech. With growth like this in Seattle, now is the perfect time for women to transition their career into tech!

Join us on August 3rd as we hear the career journeys of four amazing women. They have successfully transitioned to different areas of high tech in some of the most “non-traditional” ways. These women will inspire and motivate you to take action within your own career—whether it’s becoming an Engineer, or moving into Marketing/PR, Project Management or Design in tech.
