Position: Senior Web Developer

What: With offices in Seattle, Spokane, Portland, Los Angeles and London, Ascentium provides innovative, business impacting results across multiple channels for some of the world’s top brands. Our Bellevue office has an immediate need for a Senior Web Developer.
Responsibilities: You will work with Creative and User Experience teams to create world class websites for our Fortune 500 clients. Act as technical lead for project teams of up to 5 team members. Provide ongoing development and maintenance of content through an established workflow process across multiple development/publishing platforms Work as an integral part of a dynamic, fast-paced team. You will be part of a team where your contributions are critical to the initiative’s success. You will need strong organizational skills, thorough attention to detail.
Requirements: 3-5 years in-depth experience in web site development. Experience in digital agency technology industry is highly desired. Expert HTML, and CSS code-level skills required. Expert jQuery/JavaScript required. Some ASP.NET experience a plus. Strong 508 compliance and accessibility highly desired Semantic HTML skill highly desired. Experience in XML/XSLT a plus but not required. Understanding of effective communications via the web, including information architecture and vocabulary is a plus. Self-starter able to ramp up quickly and work independently.
