Position: Technical Marketing Manager

What: AudienceScience, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Technical Marketing Manager. The Technical Marketing Manager is the subject matter expert on internet advertising technology, third party advertising solution and technology, AudienceScience products and technology, and how those solutions work together. This expertise is leveraged through internal training, go-to-market activities, white papers, sales support, client support, partner development and other technical marketing activities. The technical marketing manager regularly engages with customers, partners, sales, marketing and product development.
Responsibilities: Enabling AudienceScience and our partners to demonstrate our offerings, drive awareness and close business.Research competitors and market trends. Develop best practices, technical content, demos, prescriptive guidance and tools that drive revenue and grow market share. Create and implement technical account strategies, develop innovative solutions and overcome technical obstacles to sign strategic partnership deals. Deliver articulate and effective presentations and demonstrations to a range of audiences, highlighting AudienceScience products and technologies. Provide feedback to Product Development and Engineering on developing new products and how to improve existing products.
Identify and build relationships with third party technology/service partners. Develop thorough understanding of those products/services and incorporate into overall marketing strategy, value proposition and sales tools. Detailed technical analysis of complimentary and competitive Internet advertising technologies. Sales enablement – ommunicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your product.
Requirements: 3 + years of product marketing and technology experience with Internet products or services. Experience in online marketing and advertising is preferred.Thorough understanding of industry advertising technology and platforms, including ad servers, analytics solutions, rich media and mobile advertising.
Strong understanding of HTML, API’s and web services. Experience with JavaScript and SQL a plus. Experience with publisher and advertiser ad servers a plus. Familiarity with Video, Flash, and mobile technologies. A mix of marketing/business and technical experience preferred. Education in web development, internet and/or traditional marketing preferred. Bachelor of Arts or Science required.
