We are currently seeking a part-time Web Content Editor to join our team. We are looking for someone with finely honed communication and people skills who is detail-oriented, enthusiastic, well organized, technically savvy, and knowledgeable about online content and web publishing duties.
Responsibilities: Review content updates and new pages, editing for consistent look and feel as well as standard copyediting protocol. Work with content management tools such as SharePoint to manage and publish content. Work with content owners and contributors to host their content online. This includes: Gathering information from content owners as subject matter experts. Developing and editing content as appropriate to ensure that the content is optimized for online consumption. This is a part-time employment opportunity of 20 hours per week.
Requirements: At least 2 years of content editing experience, preferably with Microsoft. Previous web editing and production experience. Additional experience with implementation of content projects, including writing, editing, and managing stakeholder reviews. Proven experience as a self-starter who enjoys working collaboratively with multiple, cross-functional teams
