Position: Studio Designer – Online Advertising

What: POP is looking for a Studio Designer who will be responsible for supporting the creative team by producing and enhancing digital assets. The Studio Designer’s primary focus will be on concepting, creating and executing exceptional interactive banner campaigns for major consumer brands. The focus of this position will be to create and execute standard and rich media banner ads.
Responsibilities: Translates creative direction, design comps, technical requirements and business specifications into exceptional digital assets. Closely collaborate with project design lead to deliver on the creative vision. Create exceptional digital assets . Move smoothly and quickly between projects with diverse parameters and objectives . Perform maintenance on existing work as required. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary project team members to meet timeline and budget needs of the client. Works independently or directs junior team members on large to small client projects. Provide accurate development estimates as required. Actively mentor junior team members and ensure quality of work. Extreme attention to detail. Stay informed and share industry best practices. Work with managers to accomplish team goals and initiatives. Contribute to process improvement. Lead initiatives to improve the Studio Design deliverables and practices.
Requirements: Strong online portfolio. BA or MA in Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or Visual Arts. At least four years of professional experience in interactive industry. Advanced image production experience working in Photoshop. Advanced Flash animation abilities. Knowledge of basic scripting a plus. Refined design, animation and layout skills. Extensive experience with online advertising technologies (Atlas, Motif, Double-Click, DART, etc.) Understanding of HTML/CSS and other web technologies. Excellent time management skills demonstrated by the ability to execute on multiple projects while working on a tight deadline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
