Position: Web Producer

What: Calling all web geeks! The 5th Avenue Theatre has an immediate opening for a Web Producer to manage our web site, email marketing, as well as online ticketing and philanthropic efforts. This position plays a key role in proactively managing the progression of the organization’s interactive capabilities and initiatives. Leverage your past entry-level career experience, and take your web career to the next level!

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all interactive initiatives for the organization
• Web site management and advancement
• Testing and Quality Control
• Online ticket sales initiatives
• E-marketing and philanthropic efforts
• Online advertisement consulting and management
• Identification and implementation of e-marketing and Interactive opportunities
• Work closely with IT Director to develop strategies for the organization’s online, email and other Interactive strategies
• Work closely with design team (Marketing Dept.) to implement content, strategize placement and maintain brand cohesion
• Manage contract web developer, as well as other contract specialists
• Serve as a project manager and implementer for online, email, video and other Interactive technologies
Requirements:
Required Technical Experience:
• XHTML and CSS
• .NET and IIS*
• Flash*
• Dreamweaver
• Proficient in all major web browsers
• Proficient in Windows XP and Windows 7, and MS Office
• Business Intelligence (Google Analytics experience, a plus)
• SEO
• SEM
• Online video editing and delivery
• Email Marketing Delivery platforms (TMS or Wordfly experience, a plus)
• Heuristics and multivariate testing
• Tessitura software experience a plus
* Note: Basic experience only. Web Producer will work closely with contracted web developer and other specialists for implementation of relevant technologies.
General Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Demonstrated 2+ years of experience implementing and managing Interactive solutions
• Proven Project management capabilities
• Strong communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
• Excellent people skills
