Position: Web Design Producer – (Project Manager)

What: The Web Design Producer reports to the Design Manager and is responsible for managing the process (finding resources, scheduling, production, and delivery) of producing web sites from concept (design consult) through production. Producers are strong project managers as they simultaneously managing a large portfolio with projects at various stages of the timeline. A Web Design Producer must be assertive and confident to drive projects adeptly into the next phase of the process.
This person has a strong design background and is proficient with Photoshop and Dreamweaver. A working knowledge of Illustrator and CSS/XHTML is helpful. The Web Design Producer is able to effectively translate client feedback into industry terms. The Web Design Producer is also responsible for ensuring that their projects adhere to a strict budget and timeline. This person must possess extraordinary customer service skills, handle quantity and crisis with ease, and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities: Set member expectations about process, deliverables, and timeline. Manage the web design process from concept through design approval. Focus on design. Set member expectations. Conduct design consultations and design reviews. Coordinate resources, schedule production, and deliver products to members. Effectively translates client feedback into industry terms. Responsible for ensuring that projects adhere to a strict budget and timeline.
