Position: Director of Project Management

What: LexBlog provides clients custom social media solutions and strategies that create powerful Internet identities. By integrating appropriate social media tools, LexBlog creates custom solutions designed and engineered to address each client’s unique needs. The Director of Project Management (DPM) will own the entire Project Management process within LexBlog and ensure the timely delivery of custom social media solutions in an effective and efficient manner.Responsibilities: In addition to formulating effective business development strategies and Internet identities, LexBlog fosters the world’s largest professional publishing network. That network creates multiple points of exposure that help each client expand their reach and execute on their goals. We are currently searching for a Director of Project Management.
The DPM will be responsible for working directly with clients and across functions internally from the point of defining customer requirements through launch and post launch. This role will be required to revamp, develop and drive comprehensive workflows for blog launches and custom social media solutions that are effective, efficient and scalable. The DPM will also provide guidance and mentorship to three project managers. The DPM is responsible for regularly communicating project status, issues and schedules across the entire organization.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have 10+ years as a senior project manager or director, managing custom web design and the software development process. The successful candidate will have proven experience interfacing directly with external clients on projects, as well as developing and implementing new processes and procedures that increase efficiencies. Must have a passion for and core knowledge of social media and online publishing. We are looking for someone who will have a high level of comfort in a small, fast paced organization with minimal established processes. Must have capability to think strategically, be a hands-on leader and teach and motivate across functional disciplines. PMP or PMI certification preferred.
