Position: Technical Co-Founder

What: GeoBongo was started to help families discover and experience unique adventures anywhere through location-based mobile apps. GeoBongo’s current founder has over 16 years of high tech experience in product management, project management, development, and this is his second startup. The startup is being launched as part of a startup acceleration program to help increase chances of success by involving local mentors, advisers, and investors. We are actively seeking a Technical Co-Founder.
Responsibilities: The technical co-founder will wear multiple hats and is expected to…
1) Play a critical role in use case definition and roadmap
2) Identify technology requirements
3) Design the architecture, back-end and front-end
4) Create prototypes and iterate, iterate, iterate
5) Build the mobile apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android
6) Integrate user interface (UI design skills a big plus)
7) Work with third parties to integrate with data feeds
8) Build the technical team as GeoBongo grows
We expect the time commitment to start between 15-30 hours per week, and have put in place an equity compensation plan to ensure that you will not only be working like a founder but also be rewarded like a founder. This means equity until we receive funding or we become profitable.
