Position: Sr. Project Manager, Web and Content
Where: Seattle
What: Position will oversee all aspects of projects: produce project plan including schedule (critical path, milestones, and dependencies), work breakdown, estimates, budget, resource allocation, responsibility assignment, communication plan, risk analysis, procurement, integration, quality, and scope management. Manage review cycles of projects (QA, project team reviews, etc.). Provide on-going project management service to ensure that tasks are appropriately assigned and monitored, to deliver appropriate communication and updates to project team and to integrate Plan-Do-Check-Act and other project management technique
Responsibilities: Evaluate and augment current project management systems and tools to improve effectiveness and faciliate cross-team collaboration. Contribute to the development and improvement of project methodologies and toolkits. Refine project structure (e.g., including governance, ownership, decision-making process, communications.) Ensure standard and reliable work processes are defined as part of the system processes.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or Project Management – Minimum of seven (7) years related experience managing large scale projects (budget, impact, or time); full-cycle from initiation to project close with particular emphasis on large, complex web projects
– Experience leading other project management team members
– Experience training and presenting – Experience leading projects using Agile methodologies – Experience working with vendors, consultants and other purchased services
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP Certification),Masters of Science in Project Management, Health Administration, or Business, Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience.
