What: MediaPro, a leader in the online learning industry, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to play a vital role in driving our continued growth in 2012. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented, creative marketer with a background in B2B marketing as well as managing social networks and online communities. The responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing programs and promotions related to lead generation, brand awareness, and customer loyalty to grow revenue.
Responsibilities: In the role of Marketing Manager you will perform the following activities:
- Manage the development and execution of inbound/outbound marketing strategies to strengthen the company’s reputation and brand with prospects, customers and industry analysts
- Design and implement demand-generation campaigns and promotions (email, social media, webinars, trade shows, web pages, videos, etc.) to drive leads for direct sales team
- Define a social media marketing action plan and manage our social media communities on a daily basis
- Develop and deploy corporate marketing materials and collateral
- Monitor and report on marketing performance, activities and overall program ROI
- Act as a lead copywriter for web and print marketing materials
- Drive open and click-thru rates for prospect and customer communications
- Assist with marketing department plans, budgets and reporting activities.
Qualifications:
- Must possess an extremely collaborative work style
- Highly creative individual with very strong copy writing and communications skills
- High level of energy, ability to multi-task and work independently
- At least 5-7 years of experience at a software or high-tech firm
- Experience in SEO and management of marketing vendors a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
