Position: Associate Director of Social Media

What: The Associate Director for Social Media is an innovative and dynamic role at Razorfish, the highest ranked digital agency on Advertising Age’s A-List. Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative, award-winning social programming
- Create strategies for channel management, content creation, digital public relations, promotions, partnerships, influencer outreach, etc.
- Ideate, implement, measure, and optimize complex social/digital projects
- Collaborate with Razorfish creative, media, search, BI, strategy, planning, and client engagement teams
- Team with creative, UX,and technology teams to develop social experiences, including apps, pages, profiles, and widgets
- Team with analytics to establish social measurement and listening reports and insights
- Team with delivery management and client engagement in drafting proposals, budgets, and timelines for client projects
- Evangelize our social and digital capabilities – internally and with clients
- Drive new business via RFP responses and proposals
Requirements:
- 7 to 10 years of social/digital experience at a PR/communications, interactive, creative, media, or marketing agency – or diverse client-side experience supporting branded interactive experiences
- Strong digital communications and content development background
- Expertise with social measurement tools and platforms; timely knowledge of trends and hot topics
- Experience leading digital teams and programs or campaigns on sizeable pieces of business
- Experience developing, managing, and implementing online marketing, social media and word-of-mouth campaigns (experience with online promotions/sweepstakes/contests a plus)
- Experience integrating social media programming and communications across multiple platforms and channels
- Compelling written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of web site development and platform builds, mobile marketing, search engine optimization, and search engine marketing
- Ability to manage budgets and calculate program ROI
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully, across multiple tasks, with minimal supervision
- Kung fu skills always a plus
