Position: Freelance Contract Design Production Artist

We are actively seeking a Freelance Contract Design Production Artist as a front-end production artist using Photoshop to perform design edits to our dynamic websites. The Design Production Artist has compelling aesthetic sensibilities and the ability to take instructions from a Project Manager to efficiently complete the task assigned. The Design Production Artist is able to work proficiently in Photoshop and has a basic working knowledge of HTML/CSS, and is competent with transferring and backing-up of files via ftp. They are extraordinarily detailed oriented and can maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Perform design modifications to member site design proofs
- Creates backup of files before performing revisions
- Works closely with Project Manager to ensure timely and accurate execution of design requests
- Must be able to handle multiple projects at same time and deliver on-time
- Adheres to the defined design standards as set by team management
- Reporting of hours to Project Manager
Requirements:
- 2 or more years working in a design/production artist role
- Proven experience perform updates to our websites
- Mastery of Photoshop
- Ability to follow branding and complete basic design modification requests
- Understanding of web technologies with the ability to anticipate the needs of developers
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage time efficiently and productively within a fast-paced role
