Responsibilities:
- Work with execution teams and participate in design and code reviews
- Create fast, efficient methods for development of concepts, prototypes and applications
- Provide clean, scalable, reusable solutions
- Define technical standards and best practices; work with project team to ensure consistency among features and applications
- Maintain code libraries for use across project teams
- Actively participate in all projects: attend meetings, offer thoughts and recommendations on design and technical strategy
- Perform unit/system and integration testing on all custom applications
- Clear attention to detail
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams
- Work independently and make actionable recommendations to managers, directors, and senior stakeholders based on his/her expertise
- Provide mentor ship within the team
- Keep current with emerging technologies related to RIA, RWD, and Mobile
- Keep current and up to date with the latest design trends and tools
- Provide assistance in the scoping process for new business and client work
Required Skills:
- Strong front-end web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTML 5 etc.)
- Experience other object oriented programming languages (C#, .NET)
- In depth knowledge of object oriented programming principles
- Advanced skills with graphics applications including: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong experience in all aspects of the software development life-cycle
- Must be able to design and develop for PC and Mac experiences as well various mobile platforms
- Detail oriented, highly organized and a keen eye for consistency
- Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to translate feedback visually
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with rapid time lines
- Demonstration of successful experience working in a team based setting and able to persuasively present creative concepts
- ASPX programming skills
- Experience working with SOAP Web Service API’s
- Experience with MS SQL databases and writing stored procedures
- Experience exporting and importing data via XML
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in various development environments
- Have a flexible and adaptable attitude, problem solving skills, professional presence and a fun and energetic demeanor
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
