Position: Freelance Marketing Writer
Where: Seattle
What: The Washington Athletic Club is currently seeking a passionate and talented Marketing Copywriter to assist the Marketing Team in creating high-level promotional copy. Applicants must be creative and effective team players who can provide a unique voice to marketing content. This position will work remotely on an on-call basis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide original copy for marketing materials, including ads, posters, brochures, emails and online promotions.
- Deliver projects for internal members and external communications on time and on budget.
- Work closely with the Creative Director in developing unique and on-target communications.
- Demonstrate the importance of membership privacy.
- Adhere to the Washington Athletic Club’s established style and voice.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in copy writing in an advertising agency.
- 3+ years of experience translating a brand’s personality to the consumer via creative copy.
- Ability to follow and adhere to strict deadlines.
