Position: SEO Specialist
Where: Seattle
What: Sesame Communications seeking an SEO Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate their SEO expertise managing local websites for dental and orthodontic practices. Experience with CSS, PHP and HTML required. Along with creating and managing SEO campaigns, you have the passion and drive for keeping up with the latest best practices and are always searching for how to improve results as well as workflow processes. You will be working closely with social media specialists to support your SEO efforts and must demonstrate professional skills in both written and verbal communications.
Responsibilities:
- Account management of our Sesame SEO offering
- Provide online marketing expertise
- Submit member sites to directories and major search engines
- Edit CSS, PHP and HTML for member websites
- Create and manage campaigns using current SEO best practices on a monthly basis
- Provide regular communications, both written and verbal, to dental and ortho professionals
- Maintain and build relationships with portfolio members to maintain optimal retention rate
- Accountability and ownership to a large portfolio on a monthly basic.
Requirements:
- Proficient in current search engine optimization standards and trends
- Professional experience writing and reading CSS, PHP and HTML
- Proficient working with CMS, WYSIWYG tools, The Adobe Creative Suite, FTP Clients
- Ability to remain up-to-date on current SEO best practices
- Intermediate ability in reading and writing SEO compliant text
- Must be comfortable working with individual customers on the phone and via email, explaining Social Media, SEO and SEM processes and procedures
- Strong understanding of PPC campaigns preferred
- Familiar with SEO tools; Webmaster tools, Opensite Explorer, Google Analytics, etc.
- Ability to collaborate with other Sesame Search teammates to support online strategies for members with multiple services offerings
- Intermediate skills necessary in Windows Office suite
- Must be able to self-manage and prioritize projects
- Must have excellent ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Google Analytics Certified
- Adwords Certified
- Keen knowledge of Social and SEO best practices
- Agency experience preferred
