Position: Strategist
Where: Seattle
What: Aggregate is a creative strategy group that works with nonprofit organizations, philanthropic foundations and storytellers to bring people and resources together to create social and policy change. They are looking for a curious, driven, entrepreneurial, creative and collaborative Strategist.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy– Develop and execute social web and other communication strategies for potential and current clients to meet their communications goals and objectives.
- Analysis– Aggregate and analyze research data to contribute to enabling clients and colleagues to understand relevance of data to their communications goals and program objectives.
- Measurement– Utilize client-specific metrics to assess the impact of strategies and tactics.New Business Development– Contribute to identifying and participating in efforts to secure new business.
- Thought Leadership– Stay current on nonprofit, advocacy, philanthropy and marketing trends to provide guidance to the team and clients.
Requirements:
- You care about social and policy change, which is reflected in your professional, academic, volunteer and/or “extra-curricular” activities.
- You have developed social web and other communication strategies for which you can demonstrate outcomes.
- You are a critical and strategic thinker who can communicate your ideas verbally, both in writing and in presentations or conversation.
- You are able to provide strategic communications counsel to clients.
- You are able to analyze and understand social web metrics.
- You have worked for or with national or global nonprofit organizations and or philanthropic foundations, either as an employee, volunteer or consultant.
- You have worked effectively in a team and are proactive about working collaboratively to improve the impact of your work.
- You are curious and driven by a desire to teach yourself and to learn from others.
- You take great pride in the quality of your work.
- Four year college degree
- At least three years of experience in communications (tenure will be considered in the context of other qualifications)
