Responsibilities:
As an Interactive Developer at Rational Interaction, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, well-designed technical projects like websites, mobile applications, Facebook applications, and more. Working with a multidisciplinary project team of designers, creative strategists and copywriters, Interactive Developers at Rational are responsible for ensuring that the heart of every design comes through in development — and that the back-end technical architecture is rock solid. Interactive developers at Rational are expected to be pro-active in working with teammates, able to work across platforms, focused on people, and flexible in their approach to problems.
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience developing and deploying Internet sites and applications
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript
• Experience creating touch interfaces for web (specifically in IE 10)
• Experience deploying applications to a web server
• Experience working in collaborative environment with designers, producers and project managers
• Strong written and oral communication skills
Desired:
• Experience with LESS or SASS
• Experience with cloud deployments on Azure
• Experience with interactive kiosks and displays
• Git, SVN or other source control systems
• Object-oriented design and development strategies
• Basic skills with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks (for tweaks / exporting art)
