Position: Database and Website Manager
Where: Seattle
What: Looking for a Database and Website Manager to manage the Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment Insurance database and keep the website updated.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures accurate, up-to date records, files, database, and reports; inputs, maintains and troubleshoots the database system, assisting members, clients and staff with any issues that arise.
- Prints or creates reports for finance, accounting, clients, members and staff as needed or requested, interpreting and explaining reports as needed.
- Trains client and new staff on database.
- Installs links for client access as new clients come on.
- Maintains relationship with hosting company, collaboratively and effectively working with the database designer.
- Updates and manages the website; creates marketing materials in print and on the website.
- Schedules and coordinates video conferencing services and is the resource for troubleshooting any problems.
- Writes and edits correspondences as needed; produces reports, charts and forms on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Professionally represents the organization and communicates responsively, providing a high level of customer service internally and externally while maintaining strict confidentiality of all business matters.
- Works to maintain smooth communication and relationships, and participates in team meetings in order to develop and successfully accomplish the organization’s activities.
- Provides back up assistance to the claims clerk and bill adjustor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; a background in human resources, business or related area highly desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of Database Management experience, preferably with the ERIC system.
- 5 years of programming and HTML experience.
- Extensive technical skills with Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of accessing database information to produce and create regular reports.
- Experience managing and updating websites.
- Understanding of Unemployment & Workers’ Compensation Claim processing procedures.
- Highly organized and self-motivated; independent and flexible.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience creating written and web based marketing materials.
