Position: Solution Engineer
Where: Bellevue
What: Pointmarc is a consulting firm with expertise in guiding analytics supported marketing decisions. Consultants work closely with clients to capture, measure, and refine their data and data-management practices to optimize the digital customer experience.
This will be a full time job as a member of the instrumentation and technology team.
Responsibilities:
•Analyze client’s web sites in order to optimize data gathering for analytics
•Consult with clients on KPIs and KBRs
•Work with other members of the Instrumentation team to test and implement analytics tag deployments and designs
•Work with analysts to deploy testing tools such as Test & Target and WebTrends Optimize
•Work with tag management tools to deploy client side solutions
•Work with third party data visualization libraries
•Help to research new tools and best practices, with an emphasis on building repeatable practices
•Help with internal projects such as website and intranet
Requirements:
•Two plus years of HTML/CSS experience
•Solid JavaScript experience is a must. JQuery or other framework experience a plus, but is not a substitute for JavaScript understanding
•General understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques
•Interest in learning new enterprise analytics oriented tools
•Specific experience with analytics tools and techniques a plus
•Backend programming a plus, preferably C# or Java
•SQL programming a plus, preferably Transact SQL
•WebQL or similar technology a plus
•Ability to prioritize tasks and to define requirements for others
•Any experience with Adobe’s Digital Marketing Suite will be a major plus
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move from web development into enterprise marketing.
