Position: .NET Developer
Where: Seattle
What: Smashing Ideas is currently seeking an experienced .NET Web Developer to join their team. They are seeking a full time or contract-to-hire employee. These are on-site roles (sorry Ohio!) Be a key go-to person for a creating and maintaining sites and services. Help them stay on the forefront of technology with your innovations, and share your knowledge with the development group. Both FTE and Contractor role must be onsite in Smashing Ideas’ Seattle location. Unfortunately, no telecommuting available for these position.
Responsibilities:
Develop, deploy and maintain web projects individually and in teams
Brainstorm site features and applications with the team
Provide technical guidance to clients and the team
Write technical specifications and documentation
Self-manage your tasks and time
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience building multiple sites professionally
Experience with developing and customizing content management systems
Proficient with C#
Proficient with MVC4
Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
Experience with Windows Server and IIS
Experience with MS SQL
Experience with version control and issue tracking systems
Ability to communicate proactively and collaborate with teammates
Strong English written and verbal communication skills
Ideal
BA in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with gamification and social integration
Experience architecting and administering large scale web deployments
Experience building brand-focused web sites with enhanced interaction and video
Proficiency in other technologies such as Python or PHP
Front-end technologies proficiency (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
Plus:
Experience with Tridion content management system (“huh? what is Tridion?” Don’t worry if you have never heard of it.)
Experience with Dynamic Delivery 4 Tridion Framework
