Position: Assistant Web Producer – eCommerce

Tommy Bahama is looking for a qualified Assistant Web Producer to join their efforts to create an island lifestyle that inspires the world to relax.
Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting with daily site operation and content management tasks, primarily related to retail, restaurant, company and brand content. Acts as Production’s primary point of contact for all retail, restaurant and marketing online projects. Produces updates to the tommybahama.com Live the Life blog, managing projects from inception to go-live. Assists with other site content updates as needed.
• Maintain and assist with all retail, restaurant, corporate and brand website updates, working with retail, marketing, digital marketing, creative and development teams as needed to deliver accurate, compelling content.
• Ensure site accuracy and consistency within sections managed across platforms (PC, tablet and mobile).
• Build and update web pages using CMS and HTML.
• Manage retail, restaurants and marketing content development processes from inception to launch including production schedules, resource coordination and deadline management for eCommerce.
• Create transparency of projects, processes, timelines and status for all members of the eCommerce team as well as retail, restaurants, marketing and guest services teams through effective communication.
• Organize retail, restaurant, marketing and brand assets as necessary for the website (copy, photography, etc.).
• Coordinate closely with creative team for any website copy, proofreading or assets.
• Work with Web Producer and Director of eCommerce Production to coordinate timely and consistent content launches/deployments.
• Assist with additional website projects as needed.
Requirements:
• BS/BA required
• 1 to 3 years experience in production role for corporate/retail companies
• Understanding of Internet technologies and the operations of a commercial website
• Basic-to-intermediate HTML skills
• Experience with content management systems a plus
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with different teams and different job levels
• Good negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to use good business judgment
• Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal oversight
• Passion for fashion and eCommerce is a must
• An aptitude for quick, creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
