Position: Content Writer
Where: Seattle
What: P2 Solutions is looking for an experienced Content Writer to join a client team. You’re the right person for this role if you’ve had both long and short form writing experience and have the ability to juggle a variety and multiple projects at the same time.
Responsibilities include:
- Long and short form writers to support newsletter, execution guidance, executive communications, messaging and copy development and partner/PR communications, specifically:
- Proof reading and editing: newsletters, team presentations (approx. 2-3 hrs per week)
- Script writing
- Assignments for C-level executives — fast learner, must be able to quickly understand products and strategy
- Strong story teller with a creative mind — ability to work with other creative team members including a PowerPoint designer and Digital designer. Tell stories through both words and images. Someone who can think beyond just words but can truly bring a story to life by making an emotional connection with their audience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time
- Self-starter and go-getter, minimal coaching for completing projects
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s consumer products (Surface, Office, Xbox, Windows)
- Excellent Office Suite skills including (Outlook, Lync, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, etc)
- 2+ years in the tech industry
- Experience working with C-level executives
- Preference for:
- Previous working experience with MSFT
- Experience with a publication (online/print)
- Professional experience with retail consumer products and technology
- Great PR background/strong storyteller
