Responsibilities: The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for leading development on various aspects of Gratafy’s commerce platform including our merchant facing applications, point-of-sale integrations, SDK and API tools, among others. The position will interface with Gratafy’s Lead Software Engineer, other developers, Director of Operations, and company’s founders. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for delivering highly reliable, scalable, secure solutions that are business critical.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent demonstrated IT work experience
5+ years relevant industry experience in high tech or tech startup environment
C# .NET development experience using both C# 2.0 and C# 4.0 or higher
Experience implementing against JSON-based web services
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or SQL Azure and T-SQL
Experience with network sockets programming
Experience working with distributed systems
Knowledge of software security best practices
Experience developing testing plans and automated tests
Experience implementing Windows services
