Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer with strong skills in C#, .NET, SQL <x{(}>(Oracle), advanced scripting knowledge, forward-thinking Object Oriented design skills, and a passion for middleware, integration, and development efficiency.
Responsibilities: You will join a cohesive team of C++, C#, and Java engineers, testers, and system analysts who are passionate not only about technology and terminal management domain, but also about the utilization of modern <x{(}>(often cutting edge) technology to solve real-world problems. You will be working with highly distributed systems, the integration between them, mobile products, optimization algorithms, and logistics in a space where every product improvement matters and every line of code counts.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in C#/.NET 3.5+, strong debugging, memory management, and concurrency <x{(}>(multi-threading) skills, good knowledge of C++ and COM/DCOM.
- Comfortable working with a large and complex middle-tier application. While there is certainly client-side development involved in this position <x{(}>(HTML/Java<x{(}>script/C# WinForms/WPF), candidates should primarily enjoy and be passionate about middleware, messaging, and API development.
- Deep appreciation for software quality and test automation.
- Be very malleable to change and adapt your knowledge of programming to business needs.
