Responsibilities:
• Full ecosystem of tightly integrated SW and HW
• Data analysis of terabytes/petabytes of never-before-accessed data
• Worldwide consumer micro-transaction marketplace
• On-demand audio and video streaming to mobile endpoints
• Sub 1 sec data response times at mobile endpoints
• Global language and currency support
• New methods of data acquisition
• New breed of search known as an ‘inference engine’
• Android, iOS, C/C++, Python, Graph DB, Relational DB, PostgreSQL
The Senior Software Engineer will be a critical contributor towards the development of the CookBrite platform based on multiple mobile and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a background in applied data science and machine learning using python, server pipeline frameworks and database frameworks. A background in creating scalable, cloud based systems will also be important. We are looking for developers with passion for agile development, working in a test driven environment and continuous integration over multiple platforms. Requirements:
• Experience developing applied data science tools and data analysis pipelines
• Experience scaling systems relying on cloud based infrastructure
• Experience with Python frameworks
• Thrives in agile, test driven environments and excited about continuous integration over multiple platforms
• Self-starter, flexible, versatile, entrepreneurial spirit
• BS in Computer Science or related field (or demonstrates equivalent knowledge/experience)
