Position: Senior C# .NET Application Developer

What: As a leading corporate event technologies company we are seeking a .NET Application Developer to join our growing technical team in the Ballard / Fremont area. We seek a Senior Application Developer to help identify issues and drive improvements and solutions for operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with System Architect and Senior Developers to develop and improve technical design and approach.
- Contribute to all phases of product development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation and testing.
- Get up to speed on the existing state of the system and tools and help make improvements.
- Understand and influence product vision and requirements.
Requirments:
- Strong software development, design and problem solving skills.
- Proven track record of delivering under tight schedules.
- Able to work with cross-functional teams and wide variety of people and changing business priorities.
- Experience configuring, deploying, and monitoring cloud-based (Azure) applications in a PAAS environment.
- Passion for improving and evolving collaboration and development practices.
- Strong UX design principles.
- Proficiency of the following: C#, SQL, REST, ASP.NET MVC4, HTML5/CSS (Bootstrap CSS3), JavaScript (jQuery/Knockout), RESTful hypermedia APIs.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years experience implementing and supporting software development.
- Familiarity with Azure.
- UI experience and an eye for responsive and elegant web UI.
- Experience working in the Corporate Event / Conference industry.
