What: The Living Computer Museum (www.livingcomputermuseum.org) a subsidiary company of Vulcan Inc. (www.vulcan.com), is hiring a Manager, Vintage Systems.
Responsibilities:
This position oversees a team of employees who are responsible for the restoration, operation, and maintenance of mainframe and minicomputer systems between 1960 and 1990. This manager will implement timelines to insure tasks are completed against the goals and objectives of the collection. The position will also negotiate vintage purchases and evaluate potential acquisitions through team member resources.
Requirements:
Previous project management experience
Previous supervision and team performance management
Experience working in a technology-focused organization
Ability to support aggressive project schedules
Experience interacting with senior level management and top-level executives
