What: Zillow Group is looking for an exceptional leader for our growing pricing analytics team, which is responsible for pricing, revenue optimization and forecasting across the company. We need a strong team player with an outstanding blend of business acumen and analytic horsepower, who is interested in applying innovative analytic approaches to extremely complex revenue generation problems.
Responsibilities will include understanding revenue drivers at Zillow Group, exploring and implementing solutions that maximize revenue, providing analysis and insight to understand proposed and actual changes to products and offerings, and forecasting revenue.

Pricing and revenue optimization are core drivers of Zillow Group’s growth strategy, so you will lead some of the company’s highest priority initiatives. This is a critical senior role with great exposure and growth opportunities to build out a team around revenue analytics.
Responsibilities:
Partner with product management, engineering, marketing, sales and finance to design, develop and implement analytics solutions in the areas of revenue generation, pricing, and forecasting.
Develop models for pricing subscription-based, CPM, CPC and cost-per-contact advertising products, as well as auction-based advertising products.
Forecast complete funnel of site activity including users, page views, and customer contacts to advertising partners.
Develop systems for daily tracking of actual sales activity and revenue relative to forecasts.
Segment customer demand for the purposes of understanding revenue potential.
Define, track and disseminate key business metrics including via automated dashboards and visualizations.
Requirements:
Excellent data, analytic and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights which can be easily understood by internal and external partners.
Passion for and track record in applying sophisticated analytics to solve complex business problems.
Quantitative MBA or graduate degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative discipline from a top-tier university or is highly desirable.
Excellent ability to communicate complex concepts orally, in writing, and via presentations.
Must be well organized and capable of handling multiple critical projects simultaneously.
Hands-on industry experience in model development and quantitative research.
Experience in full range of analytic functions from data exploration, methodology development, analysis, presentation, prototype development, implementation, and validation.
